Over Labor Day the girls that won the GIRLFRIEND GIVEAWAY and I had a wonderful time! These girls were college friends/roommates and have tried to get together once a year, but due to babies and jobs and locations.... I think they have had to skip a year or two. THIS YEAR- it happened! They were all able to get together and soak in love, laughter, worship, tears, and hopefully some good food! We started Saturday morning off early! These girls were so fun to work with!

They share scripture with each other, even sing! We did some singing in Southlake Town Center! BTW, Snuffer's patio has really good acoustics!

Thanks girls! It was fun to see you again- Class of 1998! GO WILDCATS!

It may be hard to tell right away, but if you look closely.... you can figure it out! Only my next to longest guinea pig! Parker and Malaya were always my test subjects, my practice partners.... always.

What a sweet family! Meet the Reesmans. I met them last year, Jim is Parker's soccer coach. I have loved seeing them weekly and seeing the example they are to other families. You can feel their love, can't you??

Sweet Alec! Can I still call a 7 year old sweet? I think I can. I have enjoyed watching P's soccer team grow this past year. It has been so fun to see these boys become friends, not just playmates.
And sweet precious Hailey. Her joy FLOWS out of her body. It is contagious. You can't help but smile when she smiles at you.

Last December I participated in a trunk show where my door prize was a session fee and some prints... and a sweet 'old' friend won it! I was so thrilled to get to spend time with her family. Sharla was the president of my social club (sorority) when I pledged back in college at Abilene Christian. She was so kind, and look at these two sweetie pies! Byron was a great sport, too! It is a day I look forward to as soon as I put it on the calendar! The day I visit the Ronald McDonald House to visit precious families and take their pictures as a gift. Each visit I meet 'mostly' new families and learn their story.

Meet this little one. She was born at 30 weeks and weighed only 3 pounds.

She slept the whole time we were there. She was precious.

Now you may remember this sweet one, Ms. N. I met her on a previous visit and got to photograph her again on this visit. This time, sadly, she was in the hospital.
Her friends, Tabby. I think they were both named Tabby.
Meet Miss C. AND McLovin! The house dog! Mc did a great job poising!

You may have noticed her beautiful face paint, well Serendipity Escape joined me to provide face paint and FUN for the kids.
I love this photo of her checking herself out in the mirror.
Now this sweet guy, he really wasn't feeling well. He had just woken up.
We did get this sweet smile from him though.
Check out these big brown eyes! She was such a cutie pie.

Sisters. We had a wonderful time, before it got tooooo hot one morning. They were so sweet and fun! You can tell these girls are great friends.

Oh sweet Emerson! She loved this little brick pond. I met her back in the fall, but I know her mamma growing up days! We went to Paris back on Memorial weekend, and I got to capture this sweet girl before she becomes a big sister!
She loves her uncle Seth!This is a play house on the property we shot at. Isn't it amazing? I could really live in there, but it would be cramped with all 3 of my kids and husband. Plus the huge windows don't give you any privacy, but a girl can dream!
I didn't, but OH how I wanted to swing on this swing! Don't YOU? If I lived in that house, I could swing all day long!
Good times with dad.

Sweet girl, thank you for reminding us it is all about the splashes! To slow down, and enjoy the water on your face from your feet kicking the water. See you in the fall!

Meet the Miller Family! I have known this precious family about 5 years. I have taught kids in Sunday school, admired their parenting, and had the privilege of watching them do life. I haven't seen them in a year or so, and BOY did their kids grow up! Brian and Leslie look just the same!!

Meet sweet Will. He wasn't sure he wanted his picture taken on our meeting day, but by the end of our time, he was even smiling at me!

Awe Seniors. I love seniors. I even wore flip flops to the session! I NEVER wear flip flops to sessions! I never know when I will be hurdling over tires, high grass, or running backwards...so flip flops are hazardous. VERY. This day it wasn't the shoes that were dangerous....it was the WIND! OH MY GOODNESS! Seriously we could have been in Arkansas in minutes with that wind! But we held tight....and Tanner's boots kept us grounded! Aren't these the cutest boots!...uh...(clear throat) handsome rockin' boots!

He was such a great sport! I mean it! The wind was a massive problem! MAssiVE! He was so patient as we waited for the wind to slow down during clicks.

NOW, I just had to share this image. See that pretty woman....she and I go back a few years! We taught together in Coppell at Austin Elementary and both have moved this way. She now works at Roanoke Elementary, being an amazing support to all those teachers there. I love it when moms come ready for photos. Don't you love this image.... you can see the relationship...the love....the fun!

Part 2- Ronald McDonald House.

This trip also included me going over to Harris Hospital, as well as, Cooks.

Meet Lillie. She was only 3 pounds when she was born. My firstborn more than tripled her weight!

Doesn't she look like an angel?

I also got to meet Gracie. Isn't see a doll? I can't imagine all these sweet babies have gone through, just in their first days on this earth.

I can't get over all of her hair!!!
Oh, and sweet Elijah. He slept the whole time we were there.

We didn't want to get in trouble, but we did move the blanket so we could see his sweet feet.

I really enjoy my time at Ronald McDonald House. I have been going there almost a year now, and I can't tell you how much these sweet kids minister to me. This season in my life has been so hard, one I don't want to repeat in my life, then I think about these kids....their 'season'. They have such great spirits about them. You can see the HOPE in their parents eyes, as well as theirs! I pray for each one of them! I ask you to join me! Please email me if you are interested in becoming a prayer partner for their families. I will email you their family name and the Ronald McDonald House address and I ask that you write prayers for them! What a great ministry you can help me with! Above is Jeff. I got to enter his hospital room, wearing a fancy mask to meet him. So sweet.

Now, I did have to climb INTO the playscape for this smile, but LOOK at those dimples! Sweet girl. I love her!

I'm back....well in many ways. Many of you have followed my friend Jenny's battle with illness, and know that it just about wiped me off of my feet. I am slowing returning to my new normal through all of your prayers and encouragement. Thank you for being understanding.

I have started working again! This is good. I get to bless families with memories! The true gift of life and the family God almight has blessed them with. A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of meeting up with a VERY LARGE, but VERY FUN family. They were great sports as well. 23 of them! YIKES! The ring leader...Tiffany.

She contacted me and got this ball rolling. I wanted to show her a sneak peak so that she would know that I am working through her session....working...through...session.... I will get them all done, but until then here are just a few from the beginning of our session....so many more to come!

It was a very fun day, and I loved having my assistant there! Thanks Stacey!

UPDATE!!! KYRA GOT TO KEEP HER EYE! We had some misinformation before! They did have to break her cheek, and nose, but she is good. so good.

THank you all for your prayers for Kyra! An absolute miracle! They didn't have to remove her teeth, or wire her mouth shut! She only lost an eye, and she made it through surgery! Praise GOD! She will have chemo and radiation to go, but she is a warrior! Thank you LORD!

SOOOOOO, I am giving you a heads up,
there will be some changes made to
Paige Pearson Photography February 1st! I just might start offering some packages, yep I listened. I just might sell some digital images,
and I just might offer some things that are timeless.
Session fees will be $100 starting February 1st, UNLESS....
YOU BOOK NOW!
All sessions booked in 2010 but before February 1st will carry the $75 dollar session fee. Got that? Let me explain... if you know you want a spring session in April, and you book now, it is only $75, but wait until February 1st to call, it will be $100.
I will only be working a few weekends in the month, these 3 kids are keeping me busy, so don't wait to book.
I will also be returning to Paris in the spring, and the Ronald McDonald House. If you are interested in either of these, email me so that I can add you to the email list.

You may be thinking...how can I be interested in the Ronald McDonald House when my kids are healthy, here is how. When I go to the Ronald McDonald House I donate my time and then give a complimentary CD to the parents with their images, but you know what....these parents have so much on their plate some don't have time to get prints made. In 2010, I am offering YOU the opportunity to make a family smile! You can adopt a family and provide a special package of prints just for them that we can deliver with their CD's. I would also like for you to commit to pray for them as well, send notes of encouragement. The sweet girl in the photo above, her name is Kyra. I photographed her this fall, and again last week while we were there serving dinner. She is having surgery on February 4th. They need to remove everything the cancer has touched...in her face. I know she will lose an eye through this surgery along with many other details I care not to share, but please pray for them.
Pray for her parents, pray for the doctors, and pray for sweet Kyra.
When I see her again, she will look very, very different.
ALSO, don't forget to save your soda tabs!
(By the way, the boy, I mean young man in the photos is Kyra's BFF Bubba, or Mitchell. If you linked then you saw his photos from the hospital when he was going through treatment. They get to go home, or you know what, they may be home now! God is so good!)

I always have so much fun photographing my hometown folks! I return every season to a shoot a few of these families and the lists keep growing. This first set is from a family I have known my WHOLE life. We started out in Clarksville, Texas together. Our parents were the best of friends. I have so many fond memories at their house. I even got to see my 2nd mom for a bit while shooting at their barn. You will see their barn in quite a few shots. Thanks Jenifer for being understanding when husband didn't quite relay all the information! LIKE, I was coming!

Speaking of going way back, here is my BFF from Middle School and High School! Well, her photo is a few down, and if you think you are seeing double, your right! She has twins!

And another sweet friend from GBMS and FSHS, I mean North Lamar. Look at her sweet girl! This girlie has some style! Her mamma drove in from Oklahoma for the shoot.

OH, and on our location change, this is what happened to my car! Stay one the road! Even if the grass is tall and the lighting is absolutely beautiful in the clearing. By the way, I was only 3 feet from the driveway!

And Mr. Caden and Ms. Chelbi. Can I say, FREEZING! These guys toughed it out and were troopers, but it was cold! Caden and I have become friends, and I have loved watching him grow up in the past year! Thanks Brandi, for braving the cold!

Yep, I love him. Maybe because I am his neighbor, or because he shares a name with Bowden (Owen), or maybe because he is just STINKIN' cute! We had a wonderful time in Argyle today, and even if it was a bit chilly, we were just praising God there was sun!

I hope this will excite mom and hold her off a few more days for me to fall in love with him over and over in the other images!

I have been excited about this day since May! The day I got to go back to Ronald McDonald House! I met some amazing little and big kids today! I can't imagine what these kids and parents go through every day! I really tried to make as little contact as possible with these kids with all the crazy germs that are going around, which was hard, because all I wanted to do was hug them to pieces! Most of these kids wear masks and were only removed during their sessions. I even got wear a mask when I went over to the hospital to photograph a sweet BIG boy!

Then meet Bubba, or at least that is what I was told EVERYBODY calls him! Meet Mr. M!

He has a miracle of a story. Cancer! Go home, the doctors told him...live out the rest of your short life, there is nothing we can do. Then, guess what, that silly cancer DISAPPEARED! He is going through Chemo to make SURE it is gone. My GOD is good!

Ooooo, this sweet boy stole my heart. Mr. L kept inviting me to climb into the playscape, and you know what, I DID! Before you get worried about me, I only half way got in. He was going HOME right after this shoot! PawPaw was there to help with the homecoming, and he reminded me just how blessed I was to have 3 healthy children. He also blew me away when he told me that they were just as blessed. Brought tears to my eyes.

Isn't this cute boy a heart breaker? Mr. H had a birthday yesterday and got a new car that he loved to show me. He put on a great show for me....he was a snuggler with dad. SO sweet!

AND I almost MISSED Mr. J due to traffic, I was a bit delayed in my arrival, and he had a doctors appointment that I am pretty sure he was late for! I asked him if he liked peanut or plain M&M's better, and he told me CHOCOLATE was his favorite! You bet it is! He was so loving...especially to Ms. Tricia, who coordinates my photo days. Thank you Ms. Tricia for introducing me to these sweet angels. I enjoyed our day...beyond blessed!

It is so hard to believe it is July! That must mean that I am on a bit of a vaca! I will be taking a short break of photo-ing for the next month or so, really until the end of August, so I am beginning to book for September, October, and November. That means HOLIDAY! It is so hard to think holiday with the heat we are dealing with here.

Hello Aledo! Last week I met up with 2 sweet families in Aledo, on a warm morning! Meet the Dalton's! I love it when moms come to a shoot ready to be in the photos. So many times we are the ones behind the camera and we don't get into many photos! This momma rocked it!

Her boys were super cute, even though they were melting...melting...

We risked our lives on this bridge, but it was a mamma's idea, so if she will risk it, I will risk it and try to keep everyone safe!

My camera attacked me! Seriously! I was in a photoshoot and had my camera on my shoulder as we positioned a little one I pushed camera onto my back as I was bending. I bent over and my camera plus speedlight FLEW into my elbow. It hurt so bad. It woke me up all night long as I tried to get comfortable. It continues to turn colors. Why does freaky things always happen to me?

Please meet a very special person, and family. This is Ms. Angela. We first met 5 years ago at a special preschool, we taught the same age group but in different classrooms. We both left the school for different reasons. Fast forward to last year. I was changing age groups and the preschool had hired a co-teacher for the Giraffe class...and guess who it was? Yep, you guessed it! Ms. Angela! I loved getting to know her, spending time with her, teaching with her. She is such a patient person, and mommy. After Thanksgiving, I shared with her that I was expecting (bowden), and a few weeks later she informed me that she was too! We were due just a week apart, and with the same doctor. We walked through the whole pregnancy together. I was blessed to have a friend going through it with me, praying for me. She didn't come back to preschool this past year, she stayed home with her sweet baby. Her husband is being relocated and this is their last week in Texas. They are moving all the way to Tennslvana! That is what Parker calls it. She will be missed by so many, she was such an example of Christ for many of us girls. The way she has handled situations in her life speaks volumes of her faith. I love you Angela. And I will stop now and share the photos because my eyes are doing that thing that makes it hard to see the screen!

Girl! I am just getting started...and I have to go to bed...but I KNOW you are dying to see these! I haven't even gotten to cowboy clothes!! I must rest, but JS, I JUST had to show you these. IT was so much fun hanging with the boys and aunt weezer! WE HAVE to get lunch or something next time I come in because yes! we have lots to catch up on. THis was my first time to meet these boys, but it seemed like I have known them forever! Their momma and I used to play many sports together, but basketball was the most memorable.

Of course I try to always have my own kids portraits done when I go to Paris! It is hard to actually have an actual shoot when we are in Keller. I thought these turned out great!

I love going to Paris! I get to photography sweet cousins, like in the post before, and old friends! These beautiful kids belong to a dear friend Elisha. We grew up together in Paris and it has been a JOY seeing her family every Memorial Day weekend. We just need to do it more often. My fault, totally!

I love the Ronald McDonald House. I have had cousins richly blessed by the RMH. I have had friends richly blessed by the Ronald McDonald House. Then my MIL introduced me into saving my soda tabs for them. We are on a campaign with them. I have my great aunt in Clarksville, Texas saving those tabs for us. A friend in Houston is saving them for us. My preschool is saving them for us. During our sprin

g break, we went with MIL to go drop off our tabs. During that time I noticed all the beautiful photos on the wall. These photos on the wall capture miracles. After our tour, I stuck my head in and met a wonderful lady, and I told her I wanted to help. TADA! A couple of weeks ago, a trusty helper and I went to RMH of Fort Worth and photographed some beautiful girls! ALL GIRLS this trip. Maybe next time I can get some boys! I was reminded that my kids catch stuff, germs, colds, stuff,....but my kids are not sick. My kids don't die on Monday and brought back to life after 2 hours of being worked on to be PERFECT and quoting scripture (see first beautiful girl) when she woke up! I took her photo on Friday. I say perfect, but a long road ahead of this sweet girl. She needs a n

ew kidney I believe. I took her photos in her hospital bed because she still had not been released. She was a great sport.

The families of these kids go through so much. I truly can't imagine.

And this sweet girl, kept me on my toes. She was all over the place, and was dressed so cute. I can't fathom knowing I was going to be away from home for 3-4 MORE months. CRAZY! Thank you RMH for allowing me to capture these for you, and who am I kidding, me. It made me feel good to see those mommy's faces when I told them I was giving them their photos for free! FOR FREE! Thank you for the doctors who are helping them get better. Thank you for the mommies and daddies who sacrifice so much to get treatment for their kids. Even Ike couldn't keep me away from this chick! Sweet baby, I was there when you were born, taking pictures of you at minutes old...seeing your Nana show us how much you weighed through the blinds at the nursery...your mamma is one of the bravest and strongest I know.
